PSYCHOSICAL

An asylum cabaret I created and directed. Ten people living with different mental illnesses express themselves through songs reinvented. A 360-style musical roller coaster.

Fugitive Songs

My high-concept interpretation of a song cycle from Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen. Actors devised stories out of their songs, the characters would never meet. We found each of their staging independently, all of the pieces layering and intersecting visually to complete the full show.

The Last
5 Years

My high-concept production of Jason Robert Brown's popular 2-hander. The actors worked in physically both 3D and 2D worlds, the latter putting them face to face with silhouetted memories of the other.

RENT

This production kicked off 2Cents Theatre's first official season, brought together an incredible group of artists who would continue to collaborate for many years to come, and brought to life a longtime theatrical dream for myself and many others involved. It was a powerful and acclaimed production of Jonathan Larson's generation-shaping rock opera.
